Head of Capital Origination & International Funding

We’re supporting a fast-growing financial group in hiring a senior leader to build and lead their international capital raising function. This is a rare opportunity to originate meaningful funding, work directly with global investors, and shape a long-term capital markets strategy from Mongolia.

The mandate:
Drive international fundraising - from origination to closing - across DFIs, private credit, PE/VC, family offices, and structured finance partners.

What you’ll lead:

- Deal origination and relationship building with global investors

- End-to-end capital raising processes, due diligence, and structuring

- Treasury and capital markets execution (FX, hedging, liquidity, covenants)

- A scalable investor relations and fundraising platform

Must-haves:

- Early to mid-career professional (early 30s to late 30s)

- Proven international deal origination and capital raising experience

- Strong network across DFIs, lenders, private credit, or PE/VC

- Hands-on execution track record — not just reporting

- Deep treasury/capital markets understanding

- Strong investment judgment and executive presence

- Advanced English; Mongolian preferred

Nice-to-haves:

- DFI / IFC / EBRD connectivity

- Structured or project finance experience

- PE/VC network and cross-border compliance familiarity

What success looks like (12–24 months):

• Secure sufficient amount of investment in diversified international funding

• Build repeatable access to global capital markets

• Improve cost of funds, execution speed, and treasury efficiency

Where this role sits:
Reports directly to the CEO. Works closely with Treasury, Finance, Legal, Risk, and global investors. High autonomy, high visibility, and meaningful influence.
