Job Advertisement: Chief Accountant
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Accountant to lead our financial operations and ensure compliance with national and international accounting standards. This role is pivotal in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization, providing strategic financial guidance, and overseeing the accounting team.
Responsibilities
As a General Accountant, your primary duties will include:
- Developing and implementing the organization's financial and accounting policies and ensuring compliance.
- Maintaining financial records and reporting in accordance with international and national standards.
- Managing the initiation and closure of financial periods, including annual and quarterly reporting.
- Collaborating with external auditors and providing necessary documentation.
- Preparing and submitting tax, social insurance, VAT, and other statutory reports to relevant authorities.
- Supervising the daily operations of the finance team, providing professional guidance, and leading the team effectively.
- Staying updated on legal, tax, and accounting reforms and integrating them into the organization's operations.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role as a Chief Accountant.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing accounting strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Experience in manufacturing accounting is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, accounting standards, tax laws, and social insurance regulations.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to mentor and develop a team while fostering innovation.
- High level of personal and professional ethics.
- Proficiency in English (intermediate+)
Day-to-Day
- Oversee the preparation and submission of financial reports.
- Monitor and guide the finance team’s daily activities.
- Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to management.

Work Location and Hours
