Role Overview
As a Service Engineer, you will be essential to ensuring uptime, performance, and safety of mining and processing equipment. Your work will be visible to clients every day and impactful—ensuring major equipment runs smoothly, providing technical leadership, and supporting operations pivotal to Mongolia’s mining sector.
Key Responsibilities • Perform on-site maintenance, upgrades, assembly, and repair on large-scale mining and mineral-processing equipment. • Interpret and apply technical documentation: drawings, diagrams, test reports. • Collaborate with clients’ technical teams—train personnel to maintain equipment safety and efficiency. • Analyze performance or operational issues, propose repair or improvement plans. • Ensure equipment operates continuously—diagnose and address faults, optimize reliability. • Keep up with industry and technical developments to improve service outcomes.
Essential Qualifications • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering field. • Proven track record with mining or processing equipment: installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs. • Fluent in English. Russian proficiency a plus. • Strong technical analysis skills; ability to read technical documentation confidently. • Comfortable traveling frequently to customer sites.
