A leading global distributor of specialized equipment solutions is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operation Manager to lead its logistics and warehousing network. This position oversees operations across multiple locations and focuses on driving efficiency, inventory optimization, and high safety standards within a fast-paced environment.
Core Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations for the main warehouse and remote regional sites to ensure consistency across all locations.
Develop and implement warehouse policies while monitoring KPIs to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee warehouse budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation to maintain operational efficiency.
Execute strategies for inventory optimization to reduce holding costs and ensure a steady supply of parts.
Conduct regular safety inspections and lead toolbox meetings to uphold strict safety and OHSE requirements.
Manage and mentor supervisors and coordinators across all locations to foster a culture of safety and accountability.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the mining industry, including at least 2 years in a management role.
High proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, along with advanced Excel capabilities.
Professional working proficiency in English is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a capacity to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
