Reporting Accountant — International Mining Company, Mongolia

The Opportunity
The Mongolia branch of an international mining equipment supplier is seeking a Reporting Accountant to join its finance function. This role is responsible for preparing accurate, timely financial statements and consolidated reporting across the group, ensuring full IFRS compliance and consistency across entities.
What You'll Do
Perform daily and month-end accounting functions, including general ledger and balance sheet reconciliation
Prepare consolidated financial statements and elimination entries across group entities
Ensure IFRS-compliant accounting and tax treatment on intercompany transactions
Support transfer pricing documentation and benchmark studies
Act as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors
Prepare monthly P&L, cash flow forecasts, and management reporting
Collaborate closely with tax, accounting, and senior reporting teams to meet tight group reporting deadlines
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, with ACCA or CPA qualification
Minimum 3 years' experience in a relevant accounting role
Strong conceptual understanding of IFRS
Solid knowledge of group reporting and consolidation
Experience with fully integrated ERP/accounting systems
Strong analytical skills and ability to work well under pressure and deadlines
Excellent communication skills in both Mongolian and English
