Company and this role
Higher Careers is retained on a confidential search for a Mine Leader to join a large-scale open pit mining operation in Mongolia, running to international safety and asset management standards.
This is one of the few surface mining roles in Mongolia where asset strategy and operational execution sit under one leader. You take ownership of a large mobile fleet and the systems that keep it running — established team, mature planning discipline, and a clear mandate to lift availability, lift reliability and hold cost. The operation is properly resourced and the executive sponsorship is real.
If you have been watching mining jobs in Mongolia for something with genuine scale and progression rather than a lateral step, this is worth a conversation.
