HSE Manager — International Mining Equipment Supplier, Mongolia

The Opportunity
The Mongolia branch of an international mining equipment supplier is seeking an experienced OHSE Manager to lead Health, Safety, and Environment strategy across the organization. This is a strategic leadership role, driving the company's commitment to Zero Harm across all operations, in full compliance with local and international regulations.
What You'll Do
Lead and shape the company's overall OHSE strategy and culture
Manage the Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment Management System
Develop hazard identification programs, risk management, and corrective action systems
Advise senior management on OHSE risks, strategy, and compliance
Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards (OHSAS 18001, ISO 14000)
Lead, coach, and develop the Safety, Health, and Security team
Build strong OHSE relationships across departments, customers, and regulatory bodies
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Occupational Health and Safety
5+ years of safety experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role; mining experience preferred
Strong understanding of mechanical and maintenance services
Proven leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Excellent communication skills in both English and Mongolian
Reporting Line
Reports to the Director of HR and Business Services.
