A growing engineering and infrastructure-focused business is seeking a commercially driven Head of Property Development to lead and build its property development platform.

The role goes beyond traditional project management. You will be responsible for shaping the overall development strategy, identifying investment opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and overseeing projects from concept through execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Development
- Lead the overall growth strategy and business direction of the property development function
- Identify and evaluate new development and investment opportunities
- Develop scalable business plans aligned with long-term growth objectives
Project Development & Execution
- Oversee the full development lifecycle from feasibility and financial evaluation through execution and delivery
- Coordinate design, commercial, operational, and project stakeholders
- Ensure projects meet quality, budget, timeline, and safety expectations
Business Development & Partnerships
- Build relationships with developers, investors, contractors, consultants, and strategic partners
- Lead negotiations and support partnership and joint venture opportunities
- Strengthen market positioning and identify new revenue opportunities
Commercial & Financial Oversight
- Monitor project returns, capital efficiency, cash flow, and development pipeline performance
- Conduct market analysis, feasibility studies, and investment assessments
- Support long-term value creation through strategic planning and governance
Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing team focused on accountability, ownership, and execution excellence

Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or related field
- Strong experience in property development, real estate investment, infrastructure, or project development environments
- Proven track record of leading development projects from concept to completion
- Strong commercial mindset with experience in feasibility analysis and investment evaluation
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership skills
