An established and growing business group operating across transportation, logistics, and other commercial sectors is seeking a Director of Investment & Project Development to identify, evaluate, and lead strategic investment and development opportunities that support the Group's long-term growth.
This is a senior role combining market research, investment analysis, project development, and project leadership, with a focus on identifying the right opportunities and turning them into successful, value-generating projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and identify investment and business opportunities aligned with the Group's long-term strategy
- Evaluate investment opportunities and prepare financial and investment analyses
- Develop and assess potential projects from concept and feasibility through implementation
- Lead large-scale projects, managing scope, budgets, timelines, and key stakeholders
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout project development and execution
- Monitor project performance and identify opportunities to maximise investment returns
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on investment and project priorities
- Support the Group's sustainable growth through disciplined investment and project development
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a management or leadership position
- 3+ years of proven project management experience
- Demonstrated experience in implementing investment projects
- Experience managing projects with significant budgets and multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical and financial evaluation skills
- Advanced English communication skills
- Strong strategic thinking, project leadership, and decision-making abilities
Preferred
- Chinese or Russian language skills
- Experience within investment, business development, infrastructure, logistics, or other large-scale commercial projects
