Chief Financial Officer (CFO) | Fintech | Ulaanbaatar
We are hiring a Chief Financial Officer for a fast-scaling fintech company. Backed by strong investors and expanding across markets, this is a critical leadership role at a high-growth stage.
The role
- Act as a key partner to the CEO and Board
- Own financial strategy, fundraising, and overall financial health
- Play a central role in scaling the business and driving growth
What you will be doing
- Lead financial strategy, planning, and forecasting
- Drive fundraising initiatives (equity, debt, alternative structures)
- Manage investor relationships and stakeholder communication
- Oversee accounting, reporting, treasury, and tax
- Ensure regulatory compliance and financial governance
- Strengthen internal controls and risk management
- Partner with product, tech, and operations teams
- Present financial insights to Board and leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team
What we are looking for
- 8–10+ years of experience in finance (leadership exposure preferred)
- Background in fintech, tech, or high-growth environments is a plus
- Experience or exposure to fundraising and financial strategy
- Good understanding of financial reporting and compliance
- Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable mindset
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills
